I ALWAYS thrift brass elephants. Itβs one of my things that I never pass up. Yesterday an older lady at the thrift store told me that an elephant figure with their trunk up is good luck and itβs bonus points if you face them towards a door. Iβm not arguing with her logic. ππ€π»

Sounds like a pretty good incentive to me! We didnβt have one, but we lived just outside a rural area so my best friend had a party line. When we would talk on the phone other people would pick up to see if the line was free yet.

Age verification? I made calls after 6pm because it was cheaper.
