Doc says the itches are ‘atypical hives.’ I choose to believe I have accidentally pleased the fey, who have rewarded me by planting tiny bee colonies under my skin, and if I wait patiently I will be getting atypical honey any day.

I just learned shrews:
- Are the same size as mice but heavier
- Have poison teeth
- Die if they don’t eat more or less constantly, or else hibernate so deep their brains shrink
- Hunt and eat mice

You know, given his love of philology and the age of the word, I suspect it would have upset Tolkien a lot less than having a character say something new-fangled like ‘hello.’
The Lord of The Rings movies were rated PG-13. By current rules that means that each film could contain one use of the word "Fuck". Which line are you altering to insert the most useful swear word?
