I know the feeling all too well. I keep trying to make furry friends but all I get is a polite reply at best, but no follow backs. It's like everybody in the fandom already has their set group of friends, and they don't want any more.
After consideration, I have decided that there is hardly any reason to stay on this community anymore.
It no longer makes me happy at all. It's an extreme source of distress. Everyone I appreciated and thought close is gone or keeping me at an abysmal distance. There is no room for me.

Finding out just now that Zohran Mamdani won the mayoral race just made me breathe a sigh of relief.
I don't even know why; I don't even live in New York, or am American for that matter but, in the current political climate, it means so much nonetheless.
