I'm very autistic, and socializing takes a lot out of me, so it's very disheartening when I take the effort to be social only to be met with radio silence.
Of course, just because I like someone doesn't mean that they have to like me back, I'm not *that* childish... but up lately I've had [1/2]

Maybe I should fully go away as well. Not much of a point being around just for the occasional pointless like/fav, and it's not like anyone will miss me anyway.

After consideration, I have decided that there is hardly any reason to stay on this community anymore.
It no longer makes me happy at all. It's an extreme source of distress. Everyone I appreciated and thought close is gone or keeping me at an abysmal distance. There is no room for me.

The furry fandom used to be such a joyful, welcoming and friendly place, but nowadays it's just a lonely, miserable experience; most people will only talk to you if they find your characters fuckable, and sometimes not even then.

I may be wrong because my memory is crap these days, but I think I remember my religion class teacher telling us, back in high school, that this dog/legend was the very reason behind the Church proclaiming that animals don't have souls.
