*working 10-11h days all week

I wish I could only work 10h all week and still somehow make enough lmao

anyway it was caramel sundae for me from McD and they gave me a fudge one. I hate fudge, could deal with it if it was a normal amount but it was absolutely overloaded with it, more fudge than ice cream.

Is there a worse feeling when you've been working 10-11hours all week, so really tired and then just really sad/depressed bc of your life, and you've been thinking of a very specific treat all week, then you go get it, and they mess it up and you don't notice until you're at home?

Yeah I can understand that : D it was funny little moment but also endearing

That's sad to hear : (
It's also interesting how things have changed, because I was eager to learn to read, I wanted to know what all the subtitles said in foreign tv shows/movies, and I wanted to be able to read books and comics.... so where has that kind of curiosity gone?

while ANE has lot more folks I know going to it etc. IDK cons are kinda whatever if there's no people you aim to meet *shrug*

But I hope anyone going has a very good and awesome time ´w`

Furpoc and ANE turned out to be bit too close to each other for my wallet, so I didn't wound up attending ANE this year (either. been meaning to go for like 3-4 years now lol).

but I think going forward ANE will be the con I'll attend if any. Furpoc was neat, but no one I know goes to that one-

The less reminders I have like this, the better I've been feeling ngl.

(also glad I can now use rest of the sketchbook...it's very good quality paper in it lol)

Found an old sketchbook that had some drawings of me and ex's sonas from like...2016

Those doodles cause me nothing but pain anymore so it was...both very sad and cathartic to tear the pages out and trash them. It's like some weird weight has been lifted from my shoulders tbh.

Hit chapter 4 in House in Fata Morgana, and yeah I noticed the little extra bits and I got to the start of chapter 5... and I'm like... -completely- sold to this VN now. It's so good. Was worth the slow burn.

Fire horsie. Brought to you by metal horse (me). I think a horse of metal and fire is typically called a motorbike

I was at the post office today, there was a long line, and next to the line there's a wall with a glass block fixture like in the picture below. Then this very dad looking dude in the line starts checking the grouting of it...

"Survival"

Cone 5.5 stoneware, underglaze, glaze, nichrome wire

A piece about caring and bonding deeply intertwined with survival, and death as a legacy to the building of love and community.

I'm not super far into it (maybe halfway through chapter 2, I just started this week) but I'm very intrigued! :>

"You can't just say "perchance""
January 10, 2026 at 7:14 PM
Been reading the VN 'House in Fata Morgana' and they use the word "perchance" so much that I instantly start thinking of this

Oh yeah, there was so much I had forgotten about.

Abusers are also very keen on demanding evidence when you challenge them, so it's just good to keep a trail if you can.

Funny how the past me helped me see that I wasn't 'crazy' :P

Me it helped after the fact, I had been journaling extensively during some tough times, and when the truth of my abusive home situation was coming to light...reading back to the journals helped me greatly to put the pieces together, pinpoint the exact time the shift happened.
