DoorDash Discourse is entirely wrong.

Since the pandemic, percent spending on groceries are up, food away from home is down, and this is especially true for young people. Trends point to food affordability being a real problem.

Stop Blaming DoorDash for the Affordability Crisis
One DoorDash Discourse to rule them all: Food away from home is down. Groceries are up. This is especially true for young people. Affordability is a real problem.

I’ve never been one to think that debate clarifies much. But I wouldn’t mind seeing a few debates between the average Minnesota Catholic mom and the average ICE agent.
“I’m a Minnesota Catholic mom. Here’s what my neighbors are saying about ICE.”

“It is worse than the national media is showing … I’m terrified for our future as a country and terrified for all of our friends and neighbors and colleagues that aren’t white.”
I'm a Minnesota Catholic mom. Here's what my neighbors are saying about ICE.
The best way to understand what life is like in Minnesota right now is to listen to stories from ordinary residents.

Epstein’s economic power among academics was made possible by a capitalist system that makes higher education dependent on the charity economy rather than a public good supported by taxing the rich

This race was such a massive swing blowout that Democrat Taylor Rehmet literally won a city called White Settlement

like D.H. Lawrence, James Joyce wrote of life in the body--in the actual, physical body; V. Woolf never dared give us a single moment of a woman in a woman's body, her good breeding wouldn't allow it. a generation later, Doris Lessing would throw down the gauntlet. no turning back!

A long-underappreciated component of "Do not obey in advance" is that doing so often not only makes you look like a coward and a fool, but also results in considerable unnecessary work.

Und thus, modernity comes to a close just like it started, with a guy ranting at windmills
Trump: "There are windmills all over Europe. There are windmills all over the place. And they are losers. One thing I've noticed is that the more windmills a country has, the more money that country loses, and the worse that country is doing. I haven't been able to find any wind farms in China."

This sounds like a job for the Harper‘s letter signatories
Mischief Toy Store in St. Paul has until Wednesday to turn over employment records to the Department of Homeland Security as part of a surprise audit launched Friday, just hours after one of the shop's owners criticized ICE agents during a television interview. bit.ly/4r5AFol

Even if this is true (and it mostly is) those in the academy have a moral responsibility to listen to, work with, and publicly recognize those doing this work from the margins.
There are no academic jobs. The jobs there are will go to the hyper crendentialed and/or play it safe types. The real work of the institution, the work the university only purports to do, will be done outside of it.

Notice the limitation - this only applies to the @ Grok X account, not the ‘Grok Imagine’ tool which is where the full nudes and hardcore video are being generated. Media - be sure you ask about Grok Imagine specifically.
X Safety have posted that they have now made some changes to operate within the law.

This includes "geoblocking the ability of all users to generate images of real people in bikinis, underwear, and similar attire via the Grok account and in Grok in X in those jurisdictions where it’s illegal".
