It's ok if you don't fully understand what it means to be trans. It's ok if you get the language wrong occasionally. What matters now is that you publicly, visibly show your allyship in any way you can. They're trying to drive us out of public life and we need your support to make sure they can't.

Texas Tech isn't the only university system handing down chilling, verbal-only directives banning discussions about transgender identity. If this is happening at your institution, I want to know about it--reach me on Signal at emmawhitford.96

just to reiterate; the two publications I cite above have both been peer reviewed, the Cass Review has not. This is something that Aaron & Konnoth (2025) criticised in their peer-reviewed publication in the New England Journal of Medicine.

The Utah Report shows exactly what the people commissioning it didn’t want to see, that gender affirming care works.

A 1,000-page report by the College of Pharmacy at the University of Utah, which found care safe and effective, stands out from others: It’s both independent and an actual review of the evidence.

1. Today, the Trump administration's HHS Dept., under RFK Jr., released a review of transgender healthcare.

It has no authors. It pushes pseudoscience and conversion therapy. It does not follow a scientific process.
