I went to the Senate floor to tell a story about Trump’s first 100 days - a story of daily, norm shattering corruption.

I laid out 40 different corrupt acts - each one alone could have taken down previous presidents.

1/ A 🧵 of my speech. People need to know this story.

Do your job Senator Collins! 🤦🏻‍♀️
Hundreds of millions (billions?) of dollars have been yanked from Maine at this point.

Meanwhile Susan Collins has been in charge of her beloved Senate Appropriations Cmtee since Jan and still hasn't scheduled even one oversight hearing.

GOP-run House Approps has already held nine. #MEpolitics

Breast cancer diagnoses rose by over 300% between 1973 and 1992.

Was there a breast cancer epidemic?!

NO.

Mammograms were implemented for screening in 1976.

PREVALENCE is a function of being able to correctly diagnose something.

This is also about autism.

Susan Collins is part of the critical mass behind the largest tax hike in American history.

How do we know this? Because she's not using her power to stop it -- e.g. by withholding her votes from Trump nominees; or holding hearings; or objecting to unanimous consent requests. Etc etc. #MEpolitics
The tariffs are hardly a one-man operation: Remember that Congress — not the president — has ultimate power over this issue, including the ability to revoke the tariffs if it wants to. Trump's plan is proceeding because a critical mass of his party supports (or accepts) it.
