Great work @rezinachowdhury.bsky.social!

@hounslowcouncil.bsky.social on track to implement our 40th school street by March 2026
An astonishing 90% of primary schools in Lambeth now have school streets. These are helping make journeys to school safer, they improving air quality for the children and are enabling more kids to walk, scoot and cycle to school.

It is great working with @rezinachowdhury.bsky.social and team.
Great to join mums, dads, kids and teachers today scooting and cycling to school on the Solve The School Run bike bus and to celebrate Rosendale Road School Street’s 1st birthday. Thanks to @willnorman.co.uk for joining us this wet and soggy but joyous morning! @solveschoolrun.bsky.social

Rental e-bikes are a brilliant way of getting around but mustn’t be left blocking pavements or causing obstructions. @hounslowcouncil.bsky.social e-bike partners are held to high standards and unauthorised bikes causing a nuisance are removed and the operators charged for storage and return.

⚡📮Nice work @royal-mail.bsky.social, who have just announced the launch of a new fleet of over 100 micro electric vehicles, replacing 52 vans.

Better for the climate and for deliveries. This is exactly the kind of move we need to see for cities free of diesel vans!

There’s a big leaf-clearing operation on Chiswick High Road today. Good to see these pics of Cycleway 9 from earlier this morning.

Leaves will continue to fall and can’t be cleared instantly so please take care when walking, wheeling and cycling around the borough.

The two-child limit is the main driver of child poverty across the UK. We urge the Chancellor to act in the Budget and in the upcoming child poverty strategy.

The autumn Budget is the moment to act – for every child, in every nation.
