Leaves will continue to fall and can’t be cleared instantly so please take care when walking, wheeling and cycling around the borough.

Hounslow Council has appointed two new operators, Forest and Voi, to deliver its e-bike service for residents. Both contracts will begin on Monday 11 August.

This follows a competitive procurement process, shaped by community feedback from the Kerbside Strategy consultation.

Charge & Drive in Brighton gave people a chance to test drive EVs with Brighton & Hove Council answering questions on where to charge. Good learning as we roll out our EV charging strategy in Hounslow.

Really informative visit yesterday to the sites of two district heating/cooling networks at Citigen and Silvertown. I’m feeling inspired as we move forward on developing the Hounslow Heat Network using waste heat from Mogden sewage works

I had a fun time at Smallberry Green Primary School with Toby and Helen from @thames21.bsky.social talking with the very knowledgeable year 3 Conifers class about ways to prevent flooding. They tested different materials for filtering water and showed us the school’s rain garden, planters and pond
