The last month of the anti-Mamdani campaign was an absolutely shameful undertaking, an attempt to rip the city and Democratic coalition apart and I'm very happy to see it failed.

I’m thrilled to be this EXCITED to vote for someone. The bigoted fear-mongering in this election has been disgusting, but quite informative. Cuomo should retire in Florida and stop visiting our great city; what a lame swan song.

The Trump admin chose to ILLEGALLY withhold SNAP benefits in November, pretending they weren’t allowed to deliver. Funny because Trump doesn't ask permission to rip down a third of the White House or send troops into US cities. He constantly tells us he can do whatever the hell he wants.

Remember, they're currently arguing that Biden's pardons are illegitimate because he signed the actual forms with an autopen.

Trump, meanwhile, repeatedly insists he knows nothing at all about one of his very controversial pardons. Never heard of the guy!

Sorta seems like a problem.
O'DONNELL: Why did you pardon Changpeng Zhao?

TRUMP: Are you ready? I don't know who he is

O'DONNELL: His crypto exchange Binance helped facilitate a $2b purchase of World Liberty Financial's stablecoin. And they you pardoned him.

TRUMP: Here's the thing -- I know nothing about it

I really like how Zohran Mamdani has run a campaign that is so focused on making New York City a safe (including from the fascism of our current federal government) and affordable place for all its residents, and I am really appalled by how racist so much of the opposition to his candidacy has been.

The New York Post is owned by Lachlan Murdoch, solely because his daddy bought it and passed it on to him.

And it's backing Andrew Cuomo, a meathead whose whole career in politics stems from his daddy being good at it.

But *Mamdani* is the nepo baby, because his mom was a filmmaker? Sure.

A core feature of our unprecedented Article I constitutional crisis is that the Speaker of the House is permitted to performatively lie in public with impunity from the podium every day & the assembled media in front of him offer approximately no pushback at all on the lies.

Trump knows Democrats care if poor people have food to eat and Republicans do not care at all. He thinks that’s a “weakness” he can exploit when it’s really just basic human decency — something he lacks.

Personalist regime watch. The president collects tribute and doles it out to favored organs of government.
Trump: "By the way, a friend of mine called us the other day and he said 'I'd like to contribute any shortfall you have because of the Democrat shutdown. I'd like to contribute any shortfall you have with the military.' Today, he sent us a check for $130 million. It's gonna go the military."

The Bari Weiss-led CBS News has had this up for 3 days and misspelled his name in the hed.
CBS News would never put a thinly sourced 'story' by a rookie blogger like this on it's air. Until now. The Free Press isn't a journalism outlet, it's bloggers aren't reporters. This piece is more NYPost than Tiffany Network but I guess that's the goal.
