Just keeping this thought in mind every day.
I really think within the next decade or two, the Republican party will cease to exist - at very least MAGA will be relegated to being the Klan, and the Democratic party will split in two.

At work, we are seeing a STEEP decline in vaccinations for Latino children.

Many of these children receive those vaccines at school sites and mobile clinics at school.

That likely means that Latino parents just arent sending their kids to school at ALL for fear of ICE.

A wild entitlement.
I’m still struggling with the fact that ICE “brown shirts” went to a taco shop and thought they would get served.

F that!

Here’s a story for every national news outlet:

In N.C., churchgoers are literally running into the woods as federal agents descend on the property.

“Inside the church, women and children sobbed as they wondered whether their loved ones had been taken.”

There is no universe where I’ll ever consider these people as political allies. I will literally compromise on every ideological issue to prevent them from gaining power.

Fuck them.

For a very particular reason, ALAN DERSHOWITZ, I’m thinking about how the Harvard Law Faculty, which Dersh is a member of, were VERY vocal about how Harvard’s mee Obama-era title IX standards were too stringent and “unfair” to accused perpetrators
To be very clear, Virginia Giuffre was made to say she mistakenly identified Alan Dershowitz as one of the people who sexually abused her. Here is the proof from this week's Epstein files dropped by the House Oversight Committee.

Put another way — they were perfectly fine giving power to an individual sufficiently assimilated to the dominant neoliberal point of view, but deeply unwilling to hand power to everyday people from marginalized communities.
Think it is so rich how folks in the Democratic party are decrying identity politics. They didn’t actually DO identity politics short of the prioritization of the “moderate middle class”. Everything else was tokenization — which is all the room they had left after the primary Identitarian push.

The difference between tokenization is all the power we’ll give you and all we know how to do — and identity doesn’t work as politics is screaming real loud here.
This is a straightforward Republican attack line, what the fuck is he doing
