I wrote about how if social media posting is Trump's art form, yesterday's post on the Epstein Files was his Magnus Opus. I title it: A man in full panic.

During the shutdown, many theories emerged as to what Republicans were up to. But there was one explanation that I kept hearing from House Democrats: it was all about the Epstein Files. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/it-w...

By surrendering so utterly and completely at a moment of their maximum leverage and momentum, Senate Democrats taught Trump and his cadre an important lesson: Do enough damage and your opponents will buckle. Because of this surrender, our democracy is more imperiled now than it was before.

This is so so disturbing. Trump is now pardoning January 6th rioters for unrelated crimes, just to reward them for their violence to keep him in power.

The Republican Party is in the full time business of endorsing and incentivizing political violence. So scary.
