I mean ofc she had to use AI, she's too busy signing a discharge petition to be out buying gaudy religious jewellery in person. Needs must.

Just realised this is referring to a church in North Carolina and not the Welsh singer

In case you writers out there have ever felt imposter syndrome, "From his mouth the bullet theoretical launched the bullet possible" is an actual sentence in whatever this is.
Vanity Fair's West Coast Editor Olivia Nuzzi was a star political correspondent until scandal led her into exile—and to a California up in flames.

In an excerpt from her book, ‘American Canto,’ she takes stock of scorched earth.

Can someone decode what it means when you email an interview request and the potential source ignores the request, but adds you on LinkedIn. Is that a no? Did they just forget to respond? Do they just want to boost their connection count? 🤷‍♀️

I've had time to sit with TLOAS, it feels rushed and clunky.

Songs I like in order: Opalite, Father Figure, Cancelled, The Fate of Ophelia, Actually Romantic, Elizabeth Taylor

Everything else is a skip. Don't think it will knock Audrey Hobert off the top spot in my listens for the year.
I need to be banned from listening to Audrey Hobert's album before I make myself sick of it. Luckily Oct 3 isn't far away...

It can’t happen here, you say. But it is happening.

As part of my goal to read more classics, I sometimes check with Sparknotes to ensure my interpretation of the books are correct. This time confirming that the gothic novel references really do come out of left field in Northanger Abbey.

Relieved to hear on this week's Every Single Album that @noraprinciotti.bsky.social and @nathanchubbard.bsky.social are equally as puzzled by Nobody's Son's popularity on Manchild. On the other hand, the Abba-esque Goodbye definitely needs more love.
