I wrote in detail about Reform’s plans for a fascist takeover of the UK using “uncontrolled illegal immigration” as their way in.

Around 3,500 words. Reading time 15-20 minutes (I think).

I’m gonna read it out for Shado’s podcast “Shado in focus” soon as well

In today's article shado editor Elia Ayoub discusses Reform’s “Operation Restore Justice”, the risks of a British ICE and how we can resist.

This illegal invasion of another country while its citizens sleep is a cynical act of American imperialism.

The fact that Venezuela has some of the world’s largest oil reserves makes this feel very familiar.

It's really not that hard to understand.

Starmer lied about everything he stood for to get elected leader.

He has since gone to great pains to attack and undermine the left in his party and outside.

In power, his government are going after trans rights & healthcare, immigrants, disabled people.
Glad the FT is asking the question. Even if I’m not convinced they found a compelling answer.
I get that Starmer & Reeves are unpopular, I really don’t understand the extent of the dislike.

Historically speaking, the problem of the overwhelming power of royalty and aristocracy has been resolved by the wealthy agreeing to reduced influence. The alternative to that has traditionally been them accepting reduced stature, in the sense they are personally made about seven inches shorter.

If your choice is between an existential risk to your organisation, vs being a fascist collaborator, and you make the difficult choice to be a collaborator...

...then you are still a collaborator.
Like, I'm sorry the fascists are giving you difficult choices. But that's what fascists fucking do. The only legit answer is "fuck you make me". The only answer that shows you have actual fucking principles not preferences is "fuck you make me". And that sucks. But here we are.
