Section 1250A of the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act, a law that passed with broad bipartisan support, explicitly prohibits Trump for suspending or terminating US participation in NATO. Nor can he denounce NATO. Nor can he withdraw from it.

Everything is getting more expensive for working people, but Trump is abusing his power to make himself at least $1.4 billion richer.

The most corrupt President in American history.

A government of, by, and for the crooks.

The president took an oath to serve the American people. Instead, he’s focused his second term on enriching himself and his family.

How fatally flawed are ICE and CBP? Here's a wild statistic: In rough terms, CBP officers and Border Patrol agents commit crimes at an equal or even *greater* rate PER CAPITA than the population of undocumented immigrants do in the United States. www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/ice-101-ho...
"ICE 101" — How Trump changed ICE and CBP into a fascist secret police
ICE and CBP are fatally flawed products of the post-9/11 War on Terror — now Trump has weaponized those very flaws to occupy America.

COMMENTARY: It seems an increasing number of Americans, including elected leaders and journalists, are afraid to tell the truth about what happened on January 6. That's dangerous.

This is pure, unabashed bigotry.

If a politician said this about any other faith, they would rightfully be run out of their party.

But this kind of despicable anti-Muslim rhetoric is so normalized that a sitting Senator uses it without consequence.

A stain on our Congress.

We are watching one of the wildest things a nation-state has ever done: A superpower is committing suicide because the GOP Congress is too cowardly to stand up to the Mad King.

This is one of the wildest moments in all of geopolitics ever.

Durbin loves being in the cushy Senate club more than he loves the country. He’s one of the worst Democrats in Washington. A total empty suit.
I would be hard-pressed to name a more feckless, embarrassing political body in history than the Senate Democratic caucus. Just utterly useless in this moment.
“Give us a chance to give [Trump] a way out of this that comes to the right ending. … I don’t know if that’s possible.” - @durbin.senate.gov to Danes in Europe.

Can the Senate Dems sound any more limp, facile and impotent to Europeans across the Atlantic?

Richard Hanania is a gutter racist and vile Nazi. He's not going to fight the destruction of our pluralistic society, social support systems, arts, and sciences; those are his goals.

He's an enemy who wishes Trump's reign was going better and is looking for an exit.

Do not allow him in the tent.

Today would be a great day for CNAS, CSIS, Brookings, Atlantic Council, RAND, IDA, CNA, & every veterans’ advocacy group to say an attack on NATO over Greenland would be a crime under US and international law and it would shatter American military capacity for generations.

They won’t say a word.

For some reason, very few people these days will stand up and say it, but: the US federal bureaucracy is one of the great wonders of the world, staffed with incredibly diligent people who do their jobs well and care deeply.

Trump's destruction of the federal apparaus was a historic crime.

5,000 protestors and 500 state security personnel killed in a few weeks is a lot.

And there’s a good chance the number of protestors Iranian forces have killed is decently higher than that.

No one knows where this will end up, but it’s very serious unrest, deadlier than some armed conflicts.
