If Canada wishes to remain a sovereign country, our leaders need to stop thinking that “North America” exists. Now, there is only the US, Canada, and Mexico. We need to reject Carney’s appeasement strategy — there’s no other word for it—and fully reckon with the cost of independence.

With everything going on in this country and province, I can't believe Terry Roberts wasted a rare chance to ask the PM a question by asking him what he thought of Ken Dryden's passing. What an embarrassing waste of an opportunity.

Just tried watching Ezra Klein’s latest NYT podcast episode on how the U.S. got to this point where vaccines are so politicized.
It’s pretty clear that Klein and his guests—David Wallace Wells and Rachael Bedard—really do not understand why/how the political right turned on vaccines.

I was once at The Duke of Duckworth and Jason Momoa was also there drinking (he was here filming Frontier) and man, could he drink.

One of my most regressive stances is that traffic cams are terrible. The cams being installed on our highways to ticket people going 11 km over the limit are designed only to make money, not to enforce rules or keep roads safe.
