States should still heed this as a sobering wake up call and move to undo same-sex marriage bans in their constitutions and/or formally legalize it by their legislatures. We were lucky this time, but nobody knows what the future might bring.

This makes me really personally mad for a sort of incidental reason but arguably the faith that I grew up in rejects my sexuality and ergo myself because they confuse my normal adult sexual desire for other adult men with the Roman practice of pedrastry. And now they’re excusing basically that.
