At the end of the day, the Black Lives Matter era was about whether people should be killed in the street, and lots of people decided yeah and put those little blue flags on their cars. It spread to everyone because it stopped for no one.

America has two major parties:

One party exists to serve the demented whims of our Nazi Pedophile Mad King.

One party isn’t sure whether to fund his lawless goons who are shooting legal observers in the face.

We need to end the two party system.

Agreed. The 59 Sound is a really good listen.
Still think Sink or Swim and The 59 Sound are great and well written records despite the obvious closeness to Springsteen and Petty. Don't think Gaslight Anthem were ever close to that level after, which is kinda sad. They were once my favourite band.

Take the long way into this. Nothing here is in a hurry.

🎵 Blue in Green – Miles Davis
cool ache

🎵 This Woman’s Work – Kate Bush
fragile strength

🎵 Motion Sickness – Phoebe Bridgers
plain truth

🎵 Les eaux troubles – Pomme
quiet resolve

Don’t reach for it. Let it come to you.

We have allowed white men with guns to get away with murder—actual murder—in America since they landed here. And now the legacy of this massacre is in the open. That’s the long hard work of activists, like BLM and at Standing Rock. Exposure flushes them out and those not wanting to see now must.

If you make this happen, get in touch. I’d roll you all the smokes.
The set up for Sinners would make an INCREDIBLE one shot TTRPG. It would be a perfect excuse for me to make another music-based game. There are multiple things I could steal from my own games to bring into it.

IDEA FOR A PERIOD DETECTIVE SERIES: "Bertrand Russell Investigates"

Top logician and fearless humanist Bertrand Russell solves crimes with his powers of deduction in the 1920s. Every episode ends with him chuckling about what he'll say about it in his next postcard to Wittgenstein.

Great episode. You guys do a remarkable job of stoking the fire of resistance with calm, reasoned arguments. This podcast is like sitting in a cozy cafe talking with your favorite professors and classmates. I always leave it feeling less alone and more prepared to face the world.

Listen, if you put a song in a mix tape for one person and then reuse that song in someone else's mix tape that's unethical. These are just the rules, I don't make them.

Two songs by the same band can never be back to back, it's the law. Shit is complicated.
