“It is possible I have in fact not been”
I hope you guys have been taking care of your mental health during this administration. I know it’s been a lot but the fight is not over. We must press on!

The press corps sure could do a better job of challenging Trump when he lies, when he refuses to answer questions, when he attacks colleagues. The first reporter who says to him, "Why are you being such a jerk?" will become a folk hero. And i hope he or she keeps their job.
I’ve been thinking and it’s kind of exceptional that not a single person said “Hey now” after the piggy comment.

I can no longer follow the plot of this show. I suspect the writers and actors can’t either. I don’t think they have a show runner.

Trump claims his ICE raids are going after the "worst of the worst".

But his own DOJ admits that over 97% of immigrants detained in Chicago have no criminal record.

It was always about cruelty, not public safety.

I can’t stress this enough. Read this article. Send it to friends. Ranking the vile things this administration has done is futile. But as a former judge and attorney who strived to do justice, the corruption of the DOJ ranks so high.
This whole NYT account about the weaponization of DOJ is beyond disturbing. Kinda feels like the US government fell in January.

Remember the recent middle-of-the-night apartment building raid where children were dragged outside naked & zip-tied in the street while black & Latino residents were _sorted by race_ and piled into separate vans while their apartments were ransacked & robbed? That raid? So it resulted in 0 arrests.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. There’s no vote required if he wants to release them!

The only reason the house was voting was because he refused.

This is an obviously cynical ploy and major news outlets are running whole pieces without pointing this out. He could release them tonight.
If he has nothing to hide he doesn’t need a House vote. He can just release everything.
