Micheál Martin has been consistent about one thing in his political career. He is an arch partitionist. Has only ever displayed a complete contempt for the North and the ideals of Irish unity.
Mícheál Martin believes a referendum on Irish unification in 2030 would not succeed, saying: “What Sinn Féin and other parties are all about is politics and a kind of campaign, but there is not much substance to it in my opinion.”

Waiting to see how long it takes institutions reinstate the diversity, equity, and inclusion programs they shut down, re-hire those they pushed out, and rewrite all the language they rushed to change.

Something tells me it'll likely be a long wait.
BREAKING: The Department of Education has ended its directive that attempted to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in schools nationwide.

This is a victory for academic freedom and education equity.

To recap in light of breaking news out of the UK:

The French found a way to prosecute former presidents.

The South Koreans did the same.

Our British cousins now literally are prosecuting members of the Royal Family.

But U.S. presidents remain above the law.

With the appeals process likely to take several more years, and given that the current administration is virtually certain not to grant him clemency, Yoon is expected to remain in prison for at least the next four years until the end of the current presidential term.

I remember the shock at hearing the news of his death.

Thinking about how awful it must have been, to be so gifted, and yet feel so low,

Hounded by the media and bigots, just because of who he was

Today would have been Justin Fashanu’s 65th birthday.
Justin was Britain's first Black £1m footballer and the first professional footballer to come out as gay.
He was beautiful and talented.
I knew him (we had a brief thing).
He was hounded by the press and the crowds and took his life aged just 37.
