Interesting piece. There’s demand for video versions of audio podcasts but once you start introducing elements that only work visually you’re alienating (more than) half your audience

Obviously it’s not nice to call Brexists stupid, but let’s just say they sure haven’t been shown to be very smart….

We need to start talking about the radicalisation of the older generation by the internet: perhaps we should have upper age limits on social media like Facebook, or an age-related ban on owning mobile phones.
"Foreign-born doctors and nurses were being put off by antagonism by politicians towards migrants, media coverage of immigration, the racist abuse of international medical graduates by NHS colleagues and racist aggression by patients toward minority ethnic NHS staff, she said."

Now the winner ot the FIFA peace prize has launched missiles at two more countries I'm sure they'll reconsider the decision. Seems almost corrupt in retrospect.

I am disgusted by people who abuse NHS workers and this is the natural consequence of the rhetoric that politicians promote.

Hope everyone had a nice, suspicious-death-free Christmas Day. Thanks to the supreme efforts of our tiny team, episode five - Rollercoaster - will be out at the usual time. We're off to the funeral hoping to talk to several persons of interest.

Apparently, James Dyson was the guest editor of this morning's Today programme.

Is this the James Dyson who told us how good Brexit would be for the UK, then buggerred off to the Singapore tax haven, moving his company HQ - and jobs - away from the UK?

Sad and predictable but also interesting and revealing to see the angry reaction from the populist right to the King's Speech. They're reading it as a call for tolerance of diversity, approval for multi-faith, multi-cultural UK, and supportive of Ukraine. Which I think it was & intentionally so. 1/3

I have a vital seasonal life hack, regarding roasties. There is no point making roasties for one, so you may as well make them for two. And the only foolproof way to make enough roasties for two, is to make them for three.

I will be taking no questions at this time.

Dear UK this is the plan they have for destroying NHS

Expelling/distressing the immigrants staffing the NHS should also be included

You don't want privatised healthcare like the US where only the wealthy can see a doctor, or if you're in a job where they give you health insurance

Someone remake “It’s a Wonderful Life” but Mr. Potter believes that hoarding is morally required so he can devote resources to delivering a far future with trillions of humans while George Bailey is like, “Gosh Darnit! What if taking care of people today is what takes care of people in the future?!”
