🔥 Rachel Reeves says there’s a “hole” in the public finances.

A new decade-long Brexit study quantifies it:

A 6–8% hit to GDP

That's £180bn-£240bn a year

It means less tax revenue and so less money for everything.

Brexit made Britain MUCH poorer.

Nearly ten years on, the first full assessment of Brexit confirms what millions warned: Britain made itself poorer

“I’d never experienced antisemitism growing up, so the first time that this vicious verbal abuse came out of Farage’s mouth was deeply shocking.

But I wasn’t his only target. I’d hear him calling other students ‘Paki’ or ‘Wog’, and urging them to ‘go home’.”

Remember: The richest 1% evade over $160 billion in taxes every year.

That amount would fund SNAP for a year with money to spare.

Ask yourself who the real freeloaders are.

Farage has been consistent for 15+ years.

Opposing decent pay and conditions for ordinary hard-working young people and expectant parents.

Meanwhile, he makes a mint hawking bullion, presenting tv shows and flying to the USA to big up his interests - instead of serving his constituents.

Our planet is on fire, and workers are being hit hard by the cost of living, but the super-rich couldn't care less.

BP pocketed £1.7 billion in profit, whilst our energy bills are rising and climate chaos intensifies.

It's time for climate action, it's time to tax the rich!

This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office
2) Elected officials rewrite rules in the donors' favor
3) Donors make huge profit
4) Repeat

We must get big money out of politics.

It is the root of our dysfunction.

By some inexplicable miracle, the #Betfred chairman is described as a billionaire, in the same article in which he is complaining about tax rises and the absence of profit in the gambling industry 🤔
Maybe the billionaires should be taxed ....

This is a lie.

There are many criticisms you might sensibly and truthfully make of the Sentencing Council and the Sentencing Guidelines. I’ve been making them for years.

But this is an outright lie. Pure fabrication. A fraud on the public.
