Hello Blueskiers (is that what we are calling ourselves?)

Here’s some of my photography work over the last few years (probably a little longer now, time seems to be getting quicker), shot on one Fuji or another.

Please feel to connect
Arteta & Howe could have been sacked at several opportunities. Glasner didn’t win any of his opening 8. Amorim looks like he could turn it around. Frank himself only won 1 of his opening 10 games at Brentford. Sometimes patience brings rewards. He is a good coach, and that doesn’t change night.

Some recent photographs I’ve made. All in Cornwall and shot in one Fuji or another.

Illegal migration isn't tearing this country apart, but our obsession with it is. It's an obsession fuelled by our media and politicians. Both profit from blowing the problem out of all proportion. It's been happening for decades, but never more so than now

Once the Trump Epstein story blows open I think we are going to witness a defining moment of our time. The story will not be just about Trump but the power, abuse and corruption of people in power all over the world. It’s going to be far reaching and shake people’s trust in pretty much everything.

Do we need to exorcise Darren Anderton or something? Next up Wilson Odobert breaks ankle by slipping on a tube of toothpaste.

Van de Ven hanging it in the Louvre twice in 6 months. Incredible player. (As long as he doesn’t get stolen)

A bit late to the party but Strange New Worlds is great. A massive return to form (alongside Lower Decks). For one reason or another I just put off watching it (life, time, years of middling trek) but Spock Body swap, Captain Oates reference, banger of a last episode of the season. Chef kiss.

"Amazing result for Plaid Cymru, so here's a guest from Reform anyway..."

Taking a break and sat at the Forum of Caesar. Birds chirping, occasional rumble of traffic and the murmur of conversations of many different languages whilst surrounded by over two millennia worth of history. Pretty surreal to be honest .

Not a late night kick off at White Hart Lane but a 7am walk to St Peter’s Basilica.

Rome is great. It’s one massive archeological site. Can’t walk five yards without seeing something fascinating. Having said that it’s heaving, surprised the Romans aren’t revolting like the Catalonians. People everywhere.

Good win that. Leeds were pretty good today for 60-70 minutes playing with a lot of physicality and intensity. Even first half but second half stepped it up and couldn’t really get near us. Last 10 was just that standard nervy 1up last 10 minutes.

Had a bit of a Trek filled day today. Finished my rewatch of TNG (forgot how good the last two episodes were), straight onto a rewatch of Voyager, and finally getting round to starting Strange New Worlds (decent first episode). Guess I’ll be going boldly going in the land of nod later.

Since working my way through a redundancy process at work I’ve had a pretty big spike in ocd behaviour. It’s currently fixated on deciding whether to play games on either my Switch 2 or PS5. I’m currently playing 5 games with 10hr+ save files on both machines.

The BBC are constantly fawning over Farage's every move despite Reform only having four MPs. Our national broadcaster should reflect the whole country, not just one man’s ego.

They’ve over complicated the way the Champions League draw works since we’ve been gone haven’t they?

i find this image so fascinating. it is both a literal example of authoritarianism but also a second-hand reproduction of the aesthetics of other authoritarian states. it's like a simulacra of authoritarianism whose purpose is to attempt to make the simulacra real.
This is a real photograph of Washington, DC this week, where the United States president has ordered military occupation in peacetime, and ordered the display of colossal portraits of himself.

Reform UK, which has a grand total of four MPs, was just given an uninterrupted platform for an hour and a half on the BBC and Sky News channels, in order to talk about its plans for mass deportations

When was the last time the Greens (with four MPs) or the Lib Dems (with 72) were given the same?

Hopefully yesterdays result is a reminder that football fandom should be enjoyed through the prism of football matches and players and not transfer speculation and social media 🤔

Early days but we look like a good side. Amazing what a plan and tactics does to a side. Also emphasise we actually got a good bunch of players. Sarr and Kudus fantastic, as were the rest.
