On this Spurs day in…1998.
It’s the lesser mentioned cup win at Anfield in the 90s. Nielsen, Scales and Iversen all score first half goals to give us a 3-0 HT lead at beleaguered Liverpool.
Unlike in 95 this Anfield win saw us go on to win the competition that season.

On this Spurs day in…1998.
It’s the lesser mentioned cup win at Anfield in the 90s. Nielsen, Scales and Iversen all score first half goals to give us a 3-0 HT lead at beleaguered Liverpool.
Unlike in 95 this Anfield win saw us go on to win the competition that season.

It surprised me that Man U switched us around for KO. Surely the idea is that it unsettles a home team usual rhythm - if they knew anything about our home form you’d think the last thing they’d want to do was unsettle our rhythm 🤷♂️
