I mean, even ICE is saying "Fuck ICE." Maybe not with its words, but the message is coming through loud and clear.
A Berwyn family was driving with their 1-year-old child Saturday when they were pepper-sprayed by federal agents, a video taken by the family shows. The action appears to violate a judge’s restriction on use of force.

How is she still on the air?
INGRAHAM: They're not the French. They're the Chinese. They spy on us. They steal our intellectual property.

TRUMP: Do you think the French are better?

INGRAHAM: Yeah

There’s an irony that healthcare is central in this situation - it is Stefany Shaheen’s main issue. I’m curious to see how much this hurts in the primary. #NH01
Sen. Shaheen on her daughter opposing the deal that she brokered: "My daughter's very independent. That's why she's going to be such a great Congresswoman. And she knows a lot about the health care system, because she's been working in it for over 20 years." #NHpolitics #NH02
Improving health care has been the cause of my life. It’s why I am running for congress. So I cannot support this deal when Speaker Johnson refuses to even allow a vote to extend health care tax credits. My statement:

NH's October state revenues came in $12.2 million below plan last month, driven largely by the repeal of the Interest and Dividends Tax, which resulted in higher-than-expected refunds.

It's amazing that neither Schumer nor any of the eight turncoats can summon this rhetorical energy.
Do I trust them? No. That’s why I voted no. But they are in a terrible position, and we can use the next few weeks to turn the pressure up even further.

Few things have made more more mad over recent months than the attention given to this while the Supreme Court is actually taking step after step to make life more difficult for trans and nonbinary people.

Like, this actually happened last week — in an unsigned order.
SCOTUS lets Trump administration implement anti-trans, anti-nonbinary passport policy
The Democratic appointees, led by Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, dissented. The ruling, which applies during litigation, effectively reverses two lower court rulings.

Good explainer on the cloture vote for the CR last night
Some thoughts on the CR/minibus.

1 The Dems negotiating with Rs were not freelancing. They coordinated with Sen Schumer. A few were ready to give in on day one, others worked to maximize appropriations wins.

Those voting for the 'deal' are the ones furthest away from electoral consequences.

I think this is absolutely right. They memorized the lessons of that era — triangulation, bipartisanship, government is somehow shameful — and can’t adapt to the very different world we’re now in.
IMHO, most of the Dem leadership came up through the ranks during the Reagan years and started getting seniority during the 1994 shellacking so a fighting retreat is their standard tactic. They don’t do brinksmanship well.

Not a single Democrat who voted yes has even a 10% convincing explanation as to why. They’re all like “listen you don’t understand the senate, when we take this vote in 40 days the true Republican Party will be revealed and we’ll win” like wtf are you all talking about?

Jesus, people, I'm not saying they'll all fall on their swords because we ask politely.

You demand a politician's resignation not because you think it will actually happen, but because you want to make it clear you think it *should* happen, you're that pissed off.

It's a vote of no confidence.

SHE’S LYING.

I’ve been to listening sessions and heard about many of them and everyone is angry that the gop WONT cooperate at all.

unless she means republicans, which I suppose would make sense because she FAILS TO MEET THE MOMENT.
Shaheen: "When I talk to my constituents in New Hampshire, you know what they say to me? They say, 'Why can't you all just work together to address the problems that are facing this country?'"

30 years later and it hasn’t been fixed, and she could have done it. Shaheen has done lasting damage to the state and country.
Jeanne Shaheen has been selling out her constituents since she was governor and failed to fix our education funding formula when she had the chance, I don’t know why we keep voting for her
