We are the first generation that has sufficient resources to put a roof over every head, a meal on every table, to provide education and basic health care to all, and to care for the planet.

Yet we don't.

You have to ask what is wrong with us?

I called yesterday. I called this morning - her voicemail is full, and her staffers are overwhelmed with all of the people calling in to voice their displeasure. She's my Senator - I live in NH - and I'm embarassed that she represents me.

Note to New Hampshire Democrats: This applies to local government as well.

It would be a long game, but Democrats should invest heavily in educating Americans about how much value for money they get from the Federal government.

It is the failure of those who claim to be moderate to stand up to extremism that pushes voters to the extremes.

The Republican party has no moderate element left and the Democratic party is failing its duty to fill the void.
New in PN: Cue the rebellion

"The unfortunate conclusion to the shutdown is going to fuel a rebellion within the Democratic Party, one that has already begun but will only get stronger. And despite all the justified disgust now being expressed at Dems, in the long run it will be good for the party"
Cue the rebellion
The Democratic base is enraged at their party's capitulation — and that's a good thing.

Dear Republicans: Tying health insurance to employment makes starting your own business - i.e. being self-employed - virtually impossible.

Remind me how that is consistent with the American dream?

We know this promise came out of the same orifice as the $5,000 DOGE rebate check promise.

Even if Democrats can win in 2026 and 2028 there won't be enough honest staff left at DOJ to prosecute all the criminals running the government now.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

Tylenol, known as paracetamol to much of the world, is considered a very safe painkiller for pregnant women and their unborn babies.

There is much, much evidence to support this.
Important umbrella review showed NO link between Tylenol use in pregnancy and autism. Notably this review also graded how reliable the studies were and highlighted a low level of confidence in the studies RFK used as confounding factors were not considered🧪
