I understand there hasn't been a lot of offense but it doesn't feel like they've been completely inept - at least, Seattle hasn't. New England's defense is keeping this close

When American Idiot came out I thought it was cringey posturing. I was 17 and a bit dumb, but even if I was right then, I'm sure as shit glad now that it exists and that Green Day can play it at the most American Event imagineable.

I have a Super Bowl chair. It is a chair I basically only use for the SuperBowl, because you can put it directly in front of anither chair and be low enough that people can see over.
I didnt put it out at first and there was nearly a riot. "WHERES YOUR SUPER BOWL CHAIR?"

Effective opposition to Trump, at this point, is going to have to get into some grey areas and do some stuff I'd generally not prefer, but so far the only actions that have slowed trump down are radical ones. It might backfire, but at this point, what do we have to lose by not trying?
on the balance i think partisan gerrymandering is bad but the only way it ends is if democrats weaponize it against republicans everywhere they can. wiping out republican lawmakers in blue states might bring the GOP to the table to end the practice.

The best AI can ever do musically is create something that sounds good on the first pass. That is its ceiling, in my opinion. Could be useful for elevators and waiting rooms maybe. But it will never make something worth coming back to or talking about for more than a minute.
Every instance of "AI democratizes the arts, you're classist and ableist and a gatekeeper for trying to stop it" is a slap in the face to the literally centuries of poor, disabled people making art on the margins and a crass lie in service of a machine that strips down and regurgitates dreams
