Bernie likes to stir shit up then run. He’s pretty much a punk like a lot of Democrat Senators, male and female

I put a curse on anyone who puts up those stupid flashing Christmas lights.

The real story of this BCGEU strike is the distribution of liquor has completely stopped. The private stores are bare. If anyone knows where a birthday girl (tomorrow) can find Jameson for a birthday toast, let me know.

I just threw the loaded copy of his book I’ve had for years in the dumpster. Not even donating it.
Vance: “People on the left are much likelier to defend and celebrate political violence. This is not a both sides problem. If both sides have a problem, then one side has a much bigger and malignant problem and that is the truth.”

This isn’t clever or cute. Using words tied to issues around women’s health, safety and bodily autonomy to advocate for gas cars is gross.

Is there a Gordon Lightfoot documentary? If there isn’t one about his life, there should be.

Hands off teen vogue.
Have just realized that the silly “Bezos wants to buy Vogue as a lavish wedding gift for his bride” story that’s been circulating is inaccurate - Bezos wants to buy Condé Nast which owns The New Yorker,Teen Vogue, Wired & Arts Technica because he is an oligarch who wants to crush all dissent.

I think this may actually hurt the brand. Part of the the appeal is the fact it’s exclusively sold in a stand alone store. You didn’t just pick this chocolate up at the grocery store. You made a special trip.

What transit experts generally tell you is: the highest use of scarce resources is making transit service more *frequent & reliable*. That's what actually boosts ridership.

Everything else -- free point-of-use fare, electric buses, fancy new trolleys, architecturally fancy stations -- matters less.

Following orders will not be an adequate defence for these ICE criminals.
Bass: "It's an escalation that didn't have to happen. Why were there raids? You know, we had been told that he was going to go after violent criminals --- It wasn't a drug den. It was a Home Depot, it was places where people are working."

Why are there still car alarms? Has hearing a car alarm ever persuaded you to do anything? Call the cops? Become a vigilante?

@bsky.support Hi. I really, really, really, really hate your gif library and think it's a terrible selection and I wish you guys would use a better source. You had a different source at the beginning and switched it, and it's been a pile of steaming dog poo for months. Please revert.

Being a spokesperson is easy when there is no expectation to tell the truth. It's just riffing.
Clip of Leavitt: Amy Gleason has been the DOGE administrator for quite some time…

Meiselas: Did you ever know Amy Gleason to be the leader of DOGE?

Vinton: Not until it was announced, no.
