Thank God I stayed away from getting Body Heat on blu-ray. Love that film. I think it's better than similar noirs like Double Indemnity. Tried Lenny by Bob Fosse, but didn't finish it. I'll need to change that in preparation for the blu-ray. @criterion.bsky.social #Movies #Films #LawrenceKasdan

A good thing about AI slop like the Cruise/Pitt fight thing is that it highlights just how repetitive and soulless MANY movie fight scenes are. They might as WELL be slop.

Bud Cort will mostly be mentioned for "Harold and Maude" but I've always had a soft spot for his turn as the computer Edgar in "Electric Dreams." It's been decades since I've seen it and I have NO idea how it holds up, but I loved it when I was a kid.

RIP Bud Cort. A character actor, if there ever was one, and a talented one at that. He was in one of my favorite films (Electric Dreams) and one of my favorite episodes of Batman: The Animated Series. But, I always enjoyed his work whenever he showed up. Thank you.💚
