Great example of enshittification: Google now wants to use your Gmail to train AI, but if you opt out (Settings->General->Smart Features->Turn off) not only do you lose *spell check*, you also lose all sorting of emails, so everything goes in one giant inbox. I hate it here

Update, the house is completely paid off. It feels a lot better than I expected.
I actually sold all my taxable ETFs recently. Gonna get creamed on taxes and my 401ks/IRAs are still fucked, but at least I’ll be able to pay off my mortgage 😅😅😅
