Interesting degradation of signal to noise by AI just like children playing telephone.
This is probably just an error, a really ironic one, but I've been promoted to "lead geneticist" at #ColossalBio. As such, I renounce our claims and acknowledge that they're just transgenic grey wolves not dire ones. I apologize for our misrepresentation.

Instead of sharing beautiful pictures with @dafadool.bsky.social at the Grand Canyon, reached the rim to learn of the deadly campus shooting back home, the 2nd on campus and 3rd to hit our community in ~10 yrs. Heart breaking. Thankful our students and friends are safe but the impact long lasting.

Five things I did this week.
1. We made our first trip to Yellowstone.
2. Took cross country ski lessons and tour with amazing instructors.
3. Snowshoed a little used trail.
4. Watched a pack of wolves march from high in the treeline to the river.
5. Recorded my first sighting of a golden eagle.
