Remarkable: 55% of noncollege whites and even 50% of rural whites say ICE is too aggressive, per new Fox News poll.

And 71% of independents disapprove of Trump on immigration.

This is digging deep into Trump's base.

We detail these numbers on today's pod:

I took the weekend off the Internet, read a book, did a bunch of knitting, went for walks, ate homemade food, visited people, reset my sleep schedule, worked on a jigsaw puzzle, and now I feel energized.

I'm so sorry to be the one to tell you this.

Precisely this.

It’s too classified to send to *some* members of Congress. But there are absolutely folks who are (or could be) cleared to be read in.

Even if it’s got to be a Gang of Eight only issue, send it to Congress.
I wish folks would quit reporting that it’s too classified to send to Congress. No it’s not. That is Gabbard’s EXCUSE for obstructing it.

Feb. 1, 1960, 4 NC A&T students sat-in at the “whites only” counter at Woolworths in Greensboro. Their defiance ignited a movement led to the birth of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee.

Young people fuel movements. It is inspiring to see that today they still do.

February is a time to honor the generations of Black Americans who fought, and continue to fight, against injustice to achieve equal rights.

May we reflect on our nation’s past as we continue working to build a society that lives up to its democratic ideals.

Wherever I go now people are kinder, more generous, more interested in the well being of others.

Broad smiles & open eyes. People are seeing each other. Actually listening to the answer after asking, "How are you?"
