Rita has been treated to a new distributor baseplate, points, condenser & spark plugs. I've also sprayed the rocker cover bronze which is close enough to original for me. I've also returned the radiator fan to black.
I've modified the choke cable to suit the SU H1 carburettors #TriumphHerald

This, it needs repeating aggressively and repeatedly. Gas drove up electricity prices in UK, not renewables or wretched Net Zero.
It wasn’t net zero — it was fossil gas that drove up UK electricity prices.

Spot on, @pilitaclark.bsky.social! Gas sets the price most of the time.

As @dharavyas.bsky.social Energy UK, says: "It’s the volatile cost of fossil fuels and our dependence on them that have driven up energy bills."

I ran 3km at the gym this morning for the first time in a few months. The B12 injections are having a +ve effect & not being in constant pain from an impacted wisdom tooth is liberating.
If this continues I'll be doing 5km & attempting Park Run again by the time the local course is dry 💪🏃‍♂️

It’s #LGBTHistoryMonth in the UK so let’s begin by remembering Alan Turing, the father of the AI in the device you’re reading this on, a gay man as well and a prime example of a life cut short by not being allowed to be his whole self.

This is Rita's first owner. She was Olguita Monsanto Queeny, daughter of the founder of the infamous American Monsanto corporation.
This was before she married Thomas Berington of Little Malvern Court and long before she owned Rita in 1960.
