All these cuts and Moody is still with the team?

This is stupid.
This Chefs team is playing as well or better than the Patriots ever played in their 1 loss season or a Super Bowl run.

These game-changing calls that referees keep getting wrong, across sports, make games almost unwatchable.

It feels like so many of the key moments aren’t being decided by the players anymore.
January 27, 2025 at 2:15 AM
But doesn’t look great doing it. It’s the James Harden equivalent in the NBA. Brady, Peyton’s, and even Rodgers pass the eye test as the greats. Mahomes? Wins close games. Never blows out opponents. Gets every call. Boring.
I know we’re all mad but we’re watching the best to ever do it and man, I’m just gonna focus on that
January 27, 2025 at 6:19 AM
Again. Every single play. Stupid play by Buffalo but STILL.
I dunno man I'd have given that a first

The algorithm stunk it up. Need that refresh button. ChatGpT agrees, though. 🤣
You can Google it and do the math yourself, but I promise you you’re not gonna like the results you find lol

On third downs? Fourth downs? Clutch/crunch time plays? The past six years? Last year’s Super Bowl to be exact? Hold after hold . It’s a conspiracy theory but has a little meat on the bone.
In 2024, the Chiefs averaged 6.4 penalties per game by the opponent (NFL average is 6.4) and 51.7 opponent penalty yards per game (NFL average is 51.9).

In 2024, the Chiefs got 1.5 first downs by penalty per game (NFL average is 1.7).

It is empirically false in every way the refs favor the Chiefs.
We know chiefs are solid, but the calls at the marginal level have always gone for and never against the chiefs. Every crunch time play at the end of games! You’re being ignorant.
January 27, 2025 at 1:35 AM
That was a legit offsides on Toney. Funnily enough, Mahomes sounded just like one of his haters in his response. This is why it’s a massive issue for the NFL. If ratings are down, argue the referees impacted the watchability of games. Everybody watches a dynasty. People love dynasties. Not them.
Last year alone:

- offensive holding wiped off a completion to get in field goal range with 2:25 to go down one against the Lions
- offensive offsides late against Toney to wipe off a TD late in the loss to the Bills
- intentional grounding against Mahomes with 1:42 to go in the loss to the Eagles
We know chiefs are solid, but the calls at the marginal level have always gone for and never against the chiefs. Every crunch time play at the end of games! You’re being ignorant.

At this point, I want a blowout so I don’t have to see it.
The second half of this game is going to feature something that enrages America like no sporting moment has this decade. you can just feel it
January 27, 2025 at 1:24 AM
Acknowledge the abundance of calls for the Chiefs against the Niners last year. Or, blatant non-holding calls in that game. Or the PI at the end of the Chiefs-Eagles SB. Or the roughing calls last week that they eventually scored on. Or the phantom PI calls in Bengals game last year.
no you have selection bias and likely only watch a few primetime chiefs games a year
We know chiefs are solid, but the calls at the marginal level have always gone for and never against the chiefs. Every crunch time play at the end of games! You’re being ignorant.

read back what you just said to me.

this bout the dumbest thing i read today
People hated the Patriots because they were just that good.

People hate the Chiefs because they get a Tuck Rule level call from the refs every week.
January 27, 2025 at 1:16 AM
A lot of it is illegitimate, man. If ratings are down this year for this game, I think one can argue the refs have tainted the game beyond what is reasonable. People always watch dynasties.
personally am not sick of kansas city. this is way cooler than the pats dynasty

and for those who are. please, pace yourself

Better than The Acolyte was
Most of the criticisms of Ahsoka are probably entirely valid reasons but I can't help but love this show
January 27, 2025 at 12:19 AM
The Acolyte stunk, dude. How about you watch the show first before pretending it was pure hate.
Never forget #TheAcolyte received more "reviews" in three weeks than all three seasons of the Mandalorian combined. They review bombed and didn't watch. It was so bad the misogynoir spread to a different Acolyte movie from 2008. We as a fandom need to stand up to hate.

Really impressed with Lamar Jackson's sportsmanship at the end of this one. That handshake with Josh Allen. Lots of respect for the way he handled that.
January 20, 2025 at 2:38 AM
The fact you have to respond to the cries about the referees is proof that there’s a nonzero chance it’s true. That’s absolutely bonkers.
One of the things I don't understand about the idea that the league is rigging things for the Chiefs is WHY? What does the NFL have to gain? It's not like KC is a huge media market. If the answer is "attention for a three-peat" why not rig that for the Patriots in a bigger market?

And the one reason the Chiefs will easily win their third straight Super Bowl was that questionable first quarter flag

Decades of research shows that expanding highways increases travel times. Some cities are reducing their highways in response.

For more than half the game, he had two of his starting WRs and the running game was the only thing that worked on the offense. Mina, what are you talking about?
Love really struggled. He was also throwing to WR4s, missing his best OL, with zero run game, against arguably the league’s best defense. Context matters.
Jordan Love was absolute dog shit and owes the entire defense (not you Valentine) a steak dinner for keeping them in it regardless.
January 13, 2025 at 4:59 AM
Yep, but season one was even slower.
danabra.mov dan @danabra.mov · Jan 11
i still really like silo but season 2 was soooooo slow. the last episode was a reminder of what the show is best at (juliette using soft skills) but the season’s about to wrap up so
January 11, 2025 at 5:46 PM
Josh, can I request something crazy? The Warriors seem to have late game issues, too. Is it only our perception??? Or is it real?
#49ers were outscored by 77 points in 4th quarter this season for the 2nd worst mark in the last 10 seasons ahead of only the 2017 Colts (-84)
January 9, 2025 at 12:40 AM
But isn’t he more oft-injured than most?
I think I always kind of assumed Tee Higgins was a high end WR2 because Chase is so good, but man idk.

I know he’s probably not as versatile as some of the elite WR1s, but put him with the Chargers or the Pats and I think he pretty easily justifies that deal.

Just the Williams fellas. Puka hurt too much this year and AJ, too. Glad you admitted Mahomes is not a snub.
