The Steelers have reached the end of the road with their current setup, and need to shake things up this offseason. Mike Tomlin has earned the right to see a new era through — but Pittsburgh has to be willing to start it. @fourverts.bsky.social
The Steelers are stuck living up to a reputation that doesn't fit who they are now
What felt like a surefire playoff team a month ago is now on the brink of dropping to second place in the AFC North, with the immediate future of the team in greater question than before.

Since parting with Tom Coughlin in 2015, the Giants have hired Ben McAdoo, Pat Shurmur, Joe Judge and Brian Daboll. Not great!

There's a promising young core here, but the Giants can't afford to miss on their head coach again. @yahooschwab.bsky.social
Giants, in a decade-long spiral, must make a good hire after Brian Daboll debacle
The Giants can be fixed, but they need to make a good hire for once.

NFL head coaching jobs don’t come open when everything inside a franchise is perfect. The Giants are no exception. But all the big names, from Klint Kubiak and Jesse Minter to Mike McCarthy and even Bill Belichick, should want this one. @robinsonreports.bsky.social
Bill Belichick? Klint Kubiak? Brian Flores (again)? NFL coaching candidates should covet the Giants job
That’s not to say the franchise should cast an interview net that includes all these candidates — but it should have no shortage of high-end options, even if general manager Joe Schoen remains in plac...

Jonathan Taylor and Germany itself were the stars of Colts-Falcons on Sunday in Berlin. @jaybusbee.bsky.social from the scene at Olympiastadion, where the MVP conversation and the NFL's international appeal were both reignited anew
Jonathan Taylor's three-touchdown, record-setting performance in Germany puts him in the MVP conversation
Jonathan Taylor re-entered his name into the MVP conversation with a three-touchdown performance, the biggest fantasy effort by a running back in over two years.

The Bills have stumbled a bunch since their 4-0 start, culminating in a bad loss in Miami, with issues they've tried to piecemeal or outright ignored bubbling to the surface.

With the Pats surging, this might be trouble. @yahooschwab.bsky.social Week 10 winner/losers

“Players, not plays.”

It’s a sentiment Mike Vrabel iterated and reiterated on Sunday, one that’s powered not only the Patriots’ strong start but their return to the NFL’s upper strata so soon after Bill Belichick’s departure. @joriepstein.bsky.social
Patriots' upset over Buccaneers revealed a key to post-Bill Belichick era success
Mike Vrabel uttered a key phrase multiple times on Sunday, and it powered one of New England's biggest wins of the season, the same way it powered the franchise's roster revamp the past two years.

And yet that atmosphere is still amped. Exhibit 2,371 that the playoff didn't run college football.
