Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.

Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.

Huge news! They actually released Liam Ramos and his father!

Please remember that ICE is abducting more people - including children - all the time. And they will no doubt keep trying to harass and destroy this family.

Defund and abolish ICE and support immigrants!

Knitters of Bluesky please buy this pattern. Non knitters of Bluesky, you buy it too, take a class & add knitting to your post apocalyptic skill set. All proceeds go to immigrant aid agencies who’ll distribute the funds to those impacted by the actions of ICE.

It's not an HG Well's anniversary, but the March 1908 'Cosmopolitan Magazine' (vol.XLIV no.4) has an article by Wells entitled 'The Things That Live on Mars' ("a description based on scientific reasoning ..."). So here are the illustrations by William R Leigh. [See archive.org/details/well... ]

This Great Blue Heron has chosen to winter in Central Park. I see it regularly, standing stoically on the ice--but never fishing. Hoping it is going to make it until the ice thaws! 💙🩶❤️ #Herons #CentralPark #birding
