Everything is terrible, but The Last Order by Kwame Mbalia is amazing!!
I'm not going to yell at you about doomscrolling, but maybe we can give someone a tiny break. Complete this sentence:

Everything is terrible but _________ is good

This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm.

The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him.

Happy Black History Month.

I enjoyed this short game about facing darkness and teleporting short distances
Ahro offers a quiet, introspective adventure with simple puzzles and a touching exploration of mental health, rewarding patient players.

Boy have these rankings changed. Jedi Temple moved from 2.5 to #1. Galaxy Series Spike moved from fourth to second place in my heart. Everybody else has drifted down to Maybe, except 3 Card that joins Kessel at No Thank You. (By the way, the app added new songs)
Okay, my ranking of the Sabacc variants available to play for free on Holocard Cantina
1. Corellian Spike
2. Classic
3. 3 Card Spike
4. Galaxy Series Spike
5. Coruscant Shift
6. Kessel
Jedi Temple is pyramid solitaire, and I would slot it in at 2.5, but it really is apples to oranges

I know some people look down on animation as a medium, and comedy as a genre, and I can’t fix those glaring character defects. But, if that’s NOT you, I highly recommend watching Star Wars Resistance right now! It’s got all of the timely themes we need, but it’s also easy on the heart & mind.

If you support eating-- or at least TAXING-- billionaires, please pick up a copy. Buy a copy for an angry friend. It's short, punchy, stabby, brutal. It's cathartic. It's fun. It's only $2, which is less than a gallon of gas bc, again, BILLIONAIRES.

@jasgarsd.bsky.social I loved your article about alternate timelines and Maduro, and how it's not all that new and different after all. I've been thinking about the timeline since 2016. Leicester City shouldn't have won the Premier League, and then Brexit happened. Then the Cubs, then Trump.
