A new double-sided chip-carved-star ornament, or 'rosette.' This one is based on eight equal divisions of a circle. The spiral elements of the second side were based on a design from mychipcarving.com. I previously used this on the cross I carved also. #ChipCarving #WoodCarving

OC-tober day 25, style swap with a friend's OC. In this case, @shivikai.bsky.social 's lovely (and surprisingly tall!!) Firebrand.

Done mostly in Procreate and a little bit of finalizing in CSP. Not thrilled with the horns I think I screwed them up somehow and can't make them look right even after some messing around, but I like the vintage look of the colouring

I had a heck of a time deciding what colour to make the fireflies for the Inktober firefly prompt, but wound up with red because that is the most ominous. They actually started out yellow but I wasn't feeling it.

This is the only time I miss photoshop, star fields were a lot easier to do than they are in CSP because of a couple of filter options. But I'll manage.
