Awesome, amazing women
During the Great Depression, the WPA hired 274 librarians, mostly local women, to carry books from local libraries to rural Appalachian residents, riding 100-120 miles a week, across rugged terrain.

They also prepared special collection scrapbooks with recipes, canning techniques, how-to guides.

A reminder to the news media: “conflicting accounts” is what you say BEFORE the incontrovertible video evidence appears. After that, your job is to ask why one side is lying, not to repeat the lie and pretend no one knows the truth.

Our country was founded on resistance to a tyrant.
Attorney General Pam Bondi: "Our country was founded on law enforcement"
Bondi: "It's extremely organized. The signs they have are all matching, they're well written. And look at what's happening today. How did these people go out & get gas masks? These protesters. Would you know how to walk out on the street and buy a gas mask? Think about that. We're not gonna have it"

Trumpers are attempting to systematically nullify the authority of Minnesota law enforcement agencies. That is a blatant violation of the Constitution, and specifically of the 10th Amendment.
The Star Tribune reports that federal agents "attempted to order local police from the scene" where a man was shot and killed by feds this morning, but Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara refused and "instructed his officers to preserve the scene."

On one side is a nurse and a poet dying while saying “Are you okay?” and “I'm not even mad at you dude"

And on the other side are armed officers of the state saying “Boo hoo” and “Fucking bitch.”

And they want you to believe the first side are the domestic terrorists.
Alex Pretti’s last words were “are you ok?” said the woman next to him who ICE also pepper sprayed in the face.

People are definitely setting up a barricade of trash cans and this couch, in the middle of the street where ICE is.

"That's my couch," said a woman standing nearby. "It's been on my porch for four years because it won't fit up the stairs. My neighbor will be pleased it's gone now."

1/3 If lawful carry serves as a justification for lethal force, then we don't actually have a right to carry. A right that can be used as a retroactive justification for killing a person exercising it is not a right in any meaningful sense. You could build a broad coalition on that.
