can not underscore enough how much this is just a random neighborhood
Chaos at 105th Street and Avenue N. A couple bricks and possibly an egg got thrown at a squad of federal agents who were standing in the intersection. Two cars — a white SUV and a red one — got trucked out after a chase and a crash, per neighbors. At least three detained from this confrontation.

I am so tremendously thankful that JB Pritzker is my Governor.
When he ran I was extremely skeptical but he has proven to be an amazing leader time and time again.

Y’all I don’t want to be rude but there is no one-size-fits-all rule to protest and you should ignore anyone/any meme that says otherwise. Protest is a practice. You learn as you go, and it makes sense to start within your comfort zone. Watch the people around you, stay alert and use your judgment.

I’ve seen a lot of hand wringing about the dangers of going to No Kings protests and gently, I want to tell people to chill a little. These are permitted marches and the point is to be out there and seen en masse. Please don’t scare off people who are maybe going to their very first protest

one way i deal with chaos and crisis is to nest. so @joe.germuska.com and i pulled out the fridge and thoroughly vacuumed its behind and cabinet. then i soaked and scrubbed the hood vent filter. it was so satisfying and i felt for a moment like i could conquer anything. do you do this too?
