This is a recommendation, but it’s an important one given the field in this race. It shows that working people and organized labor see Jackie as the real choice. If you can help us keep building this campaign, donations make a real difference. www.jackie4assembly.com/donate

Tonight is the California Assembly filing deadline.

Jackie Elward is my wife, and she’s running as a real pro worker candidate. This is when support actually shows up on the report. Small donations before midnight make a difference.

Next time you say "just," think about how your life would be different without them. It doesn't matter how hard you perceive them to be working. What matters is that workers add value to your life as you do to others' lives. Drive-thru line 5 cars deep? Those employees are valuable.
For all the mfers who say workers just serve coffee, just deliver packages, just stock shelves, just clean rooms, just prep food, or just check in guests, remember this, they keep our communities running every day. And when they’re on a picket line, you respect it.

A few years back i was walking with my tween. We approach a group of striking nurses. She got visibly agitated and wanted to turn around. Turns out she’d so internalized the idea of not crossing a picket line, that you shouldn’t even pass one. She was trying to keep her dad from being a rat Good kid

My wife Jackie’s running for State Assembly, and unions across the North Bay keep lining up behind her. A few big ones we haven’t even announced yet. Hope she earns your support too.
My new video shares my story and why I’m running for State Assembly in the North Bay. I’m a first-gen immigrant, educator, and progressive Councilmember ready to fight for working people. Take a look.

So I won my union election earlier today. To celebrate, I joined PSA @afacwa.org flight attendants at their DFW picket line, telling them there’s nowhere else I’d rather be than under the Texas heat on the picket line with them.

Having worked without unions and with unions, I can confirm, without doubt, that despite all the problems unions have, they are ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY NOW. If you don't have a union, you are being underpaid. Period.
Try saying that anti-union shit around me again

Raising money is the hardest part of running. If you can’t raise enough, sometimes even our unions go with the guy with no labor record. If you believe in working-class leadership, chip in $12 to help Jackie win AD12 and tell your union siblings. www.jackie4assembly.com/donate
