Actress. Screenwriter. Improvisor. Sassypants. (she/her)
Today is #BiVisibilityDay. Y’all know I’m out every damn day. But today, if someone tries to erase my sexuality, the autumn equinox expands my bi powers and I I emerge from the Seas of Dismissal like a kraken - impossible to ignore, driving all before me mad with desire and despair.

I really really want to stress that novovax is the covid vaccine preferred by a lot of people in the disability advocacy space. Disability advocates have pushed hard to maintain access for this vaccine that's not as well known as Moderna or Pfizer, but is better tolerated by a lot of people
This isn't a new product. It's an updated vaccine to account for new strains and viral evolution. Are they going to do this for all COVID and influenza vaccines yearly? Because that effectively shuts them down. There isn't enough time between identification of strains included & release of vaccine.

Notice how the conversation today wasn't about whether bombing Yemen was right, but where it was appropriate to talk about the plans.

I cannot overemphasize how important it is for you to contact your local papers and offer to give an interview about the protest you participated in.

We got three articles and counting in local papers this week because of cold calls and unsolicited letters to the editor.
Seems like has been very little coverage of protests happening in the U.S.--not necessarily an intentional media blackout (although possibly), but the result of a longstanding stance in legacy media that protests aren't worth covering, activists aren't credible sources (but somehow CEOs are), etc.

Seeing that Isabella and Laura are Sat together, such a lovely visual tribute to the recent loss of David. He’d be so overjoyed for her nomination

Good sport of the night: John Lithgow. First the disappointment but, then the costume joke, and just now bending forward so the camera fully caught the winning
moment of the editor so he wasn’t caught in frame, when his own film had just lost in the same category.

“We’re not gonna waste time” then there’s a whole ass Bond homage. (Don’t get me wrong, it’s fun, but I’m hoping it ends with the announcement of who’s the new Bond, then the Broccolis just bought a $20M dollar ad for their franchise with no payoff)

You might not see it in the mainstream media, but over 10,000 people protested today at Tesla showrooms across the country, another 10,000+ rallied in support of national parks, and more than 1,000 gathered in Vermont to protest Vance’s visit.

They don’t even have to climb a wall or grab a soldier’s long rifle by the barrel to do this like the Korean opposition parties did
Warren is the ranking member on the Senate Banking Committee. Wyden is the same on the Senate Finance Committee. They need to go to the Treasury building with crews from CNN and NBC and demand to be let in. As soon as they're not, hold a press conference right there and explain what DOGE is doing.

Understand, the mass rollback on DEI is a test. We are being tested to see just how much we’ll allow corporations and our government lean into discrimination.

They won’t stop at DEI initiatives.
