It is absolutely by design. Theyr’e tired of white people sympathizing with Black and brown folks. That’s why they’re so mad and confused in Minnesota.

All the nice white people yelling at them to get fucked. It’s like their dads are yelling at them in a bathrobe. They can’t cope.
people really like to ignore the "on purpose" part. So easy to talk about how dumb the kids are while ignoring it's by design

Every Stephen Miller tantrum and DHS recruitment ad speaks in these existential terms about "defending your culture" to elide the fact that they need people with the courage to wear a mask while interrogating a sixth grader

Any DoJ attorney who participates in this investigation should suffer professional and social shunning that makes it effectively impossible to continue to work as an attorney.

You're paying for this.

Trump's Big Ugly Bill gave BILLIONS to ICE and giant corporations—using money meant to lower your health care costs.

Instead of helping your mom get cancer treatment, your tax dollars are being used to terrorize communities.
CNN airs a compilation of escalating ICE aggression towards peaceful protesters.

I know there are a few people who remain on X out of what I can only imagine to be a misguided attempt at “fighting the baddies” or whatever.

However, remaining is morally dubious at best. Denial isn’t a virtue.
and while leaving X is a moral imperative, this story by Mike is a good illustration of why that is not enough anymore, and also kinda too late: the disinformation pipeline from rando on X to state power is selfcontained and selfsustaining on X now

I turned my thread here from yesterday about how the layers of quote posts on X that start with a mundane story increasingly get passed along with ever more unhinged conspiracy theories until Elon Musk shares it with his over 200 million followers.

Great question. Leaning into the/my feeling function. Dory gave me a bracelet that reads "Amor Fati." I think of it as taking all the feels (which are like no one else's feels) & giving them the form only I can give. Here's more on "Amor Fati." What do you make of it? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amor_fati

“A need for approval lies behind all efforts of evangelism. If someone else can be convinced, that will show us that we are on the right path. The attempt to convince someone of anything is a mark of insecurity.”

why are the AI pushers so ANGRY and hostile, though?

At the same time they heap abuse on other people for not wanting to use their pet technology??

Before reading this, I thought I was fairly familiar with 14th amendment.

My immediate conclusion after reading it: the Fourteenth Amendment should be a semester-long class, with follow-up clinics. Thank you, @sifill.bsky.social 🙏🏽

It seems to me that a pastor being threatened after *checks notes* “walking the walk,“ is what religious persecution looks like.

Stay safe, everyone.
Note: Fox ran a segment on the Chicago ICE Nativity, which is at the church of a pastor who recently went viral for being arrested while protesting ICE.

That pastor told me the church has since seen an influx of volatile messages.

“There’s been some suggestions that I should kill myself,” he said.
In Chicago, a Nativity scene features a zip-tied baby Jesus and Roman centurions in "ICE" vests.

Near Boston, Mary, Joseph, and Jesus are absent from a Nativity scene, replaced with a sign reading "ICE was here."

It's all part of growing religious blowback to ICE. religionnews.com/2025/12/05/i...
