Over past day or so notice I’ve gained a large amount of followers. No idea why & tbh I don’t use this site enough to follow most back so no worries if you want to unfollow. Also this is a pretty boring account.
Quite a few are news aggregator accounts, & sorry but not my thing to follow those back

Keir Starmer's spokesman tells me that X and Grok's creation of sexual deepfakes of children is "completely unacceptable" but again won't commit to taking direct action against them, or to stop posting there.

Says "all options are on the table" but suggests it's a matter for Ofcom, not Government

This thread is spot on. Absolutely pitiful how subservient Westminster parties are to the US
If the generation of child porn (as well as disinformation, racist material and non-consensual porn) are, like the kidnapping of foreign leaders, just another thing to be ignored to try and keep the US sweet then one can only wonder what red lines this government still has left.

Hard to believe that the government, led by a former DPP, doesn’t know this. Which would mean, if James is right, that the UK government is turning a blind eye to the production of child porn rather than risk upsetting Musk and the US government. And that would be an extraordinary scandal.

I am pleased to announce that I have commandeered my neighbor's home. This home will be sold at its Market Price, and that money will be controlled by me, to ensure it is used to benefit my neighbor and me! Thank you for your attention to this matter!

It’s not just that they are IDF linked. Palantir are a truly evil force. Look at who they are and the philosophy of the owner!

Labour. Selling the UK to the US. Right now we should be getting as far away from US reliance as possible....

Absolute lunacy.
EXCLUSIVE: Labour have been condemned for giving the biggest ever Ministry of Defence contract to IDF-linked tech giant Palantir

one takeaway from the grok noncon porn thing is that much of the media just isn't interested in an issue they can't pretend has two sides or that doesn't give them an opportunity to shit on the left. Also it would be uncomfortable to justify remaining on twitter after acknowledging it

"It should be legal to overflow foreign leaders because we can't let adversaries control natural resources" would justify every war of aggression in history. We can proudly take our place today alongside Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan.
One of most remarkable US presentations at UN Security Council I've ever seen.

- No reference to UN Charter legal justification
- Claims Panama as precedent (which the UN condemned)
- Energy reserves ⤵️ as justification is illegal
- Sharp contrast with US Ambassador Pickering presentation in 1989

Here Ofcom hoodwinks the public into thinking the wickedness of X is being addressed, gives the Government a excuse for not grasping the nettle itself, avoids precipitating another 'free speech'/US tech interests row with the US. But actually to tackle CSAM and image based abuse? You must be joking!
Of course, in the UK "regulators" are never really regulators. Their raison d'etre is political: to dress political goals in regulatory clothing, to act as reputational buffer zones, to gaslight outsiders like you and I into thinking regulation exists. But never, god forbid, to regulate.
Ofcom *might* "undertake a swift *assessment* to determine *whether* there are *potential* compliance issues that *warrant investigation*."

Hard to believe, but we waste almost a quarter of a billion pounds of public money annually on this absolute shower of a regulator.

Under the Treason Felony Act 1848, it is a crime punishable by life imprisonment to intimidate parliament or encourage any foreign power to invade the U.K.

We should be applying this law to every traitor openly calling for the U.S to depose our democratically elected government.

Despite a statutory deadline requiring all of the files to be released by Dec. 19, 5.2 million documents remain to be reviewed and disclosed. It’s likely that the final public release will not occur until the end of February — one full year after Pam Bondi ordered the release of the records.
For Trump, the Epstein Cover-Up Beats the Truth
As one of her first acts as Attorney General, Pam Bondi wrote a letter to the new head of the FBI, Kash Patel, demanding that the “full and complete Epstein files” be delivered to her office by the ne...

I have said this SO MANY TIMES. NONE of this is a "distraction."

ALL OF IT is the fascist stuff the fascist regime is doing to amass wealth and power. Venezuela isn't a distraction from whatever "thing."

VENEZUELA IS THE THING. IT'S THE BAD THING.

What if none of these things is a distraction from the other things and instead they're all just horrible things
