My grandmother had to downsize recently, so the fam were asked to help re-home her things. I took home this gorgeous cheung saam (which she wore when she met Ronald and Nancy Reagan!) 🥰 My goal is to slim down enough to wear it one day to my own book launch (✨manifesting✨) 😍

Looking back in 2025. It was a year we knew financial strife was looming. Nothing spendy happened. I doubled down on making things myself, scavenging, foraging.

Finally starting to get my post-Xmas/NY butt into gear, so took my ADHD meds this morning and because I was on a time crunch, just took a whole capsule instead of 1/2–3/4 as I normally do. WELL. I’ve gotten loads done but I’ve also forgotten to eat lololol Jackie why do you do this

Really happy to end the year yelling THE PARROTS ARE FUCKING because if you know the deal with Kakapo, then this is the best news for their species.
First mating of the 2026 #kakapo breeding season! True to form, it was Pearl and Boss on Whenua Hou, who mated on the night of 28th Dec. They were also the first two to mate in the last two breeding seasons. We're expecting a bumper year, so follow for updates! #conservation #parrots
