I am currently doing exactly what jaana recommends here and remain deeply skeptical. it has currently taken 4 hours to not finish a 350-line JS module I know backwards and have detailed tests and instructions for

In case you haven’t read 1984 since high school, this is a literal execution of Winston’s job at the Ministry of Truth. He rewrites historical documents to reflect whatever past the Party has just claimed, then drops evidence of those changes down a chute to an incinerator known as the memory hole.
This really is, as Sara says, INSANE memory-holing: Minutes after FCC Chairman Carr told Congress that the FCC "is not" an independent agency (see video below via @atrupar.com), the FCC website started getting scrubbed to remove that description.
