There’s, like, extensive evidence that shows that hand writing things helps the brain to comprehend new information and think about problems (and therefore solve problems) better than any computer-assisted note taking can, including typing the same information.

One of the things I love so much about Arthur Christmas (2011) is that it calls out adults making extraordinarily selfish decisions in a way that a lot of kids’ movies don’t. A lot of kids’ movies give grownups a pass bc they’re produced by grownups who justify the behavior amongst themselves.

In high school in 2001 I took a “how liberal/conservative are you” quiz in my civics class. I scored extreme leftist in every issue but one: affirmative action. I was uninformed and thought it was no longer needed and racism was over. Then I grew up & moved to the real world where reality disagreed.
anyway back to topic. don’t ever let people make you believe that the specter of anti white racism and anti male sexism are a new or fringe belief. they were in the atmosphere 20 years ago, with children breathing them in and out like dust. it was normal and unremarkable to us. it was accepted
