Gross cold wet morning in DC. Grateful for a warm car, good music, and a parking pass at work.

Also caffeine. So very much caffeine. 60 ounces of iced tea + two diet cones to get me through the morning. Honestly it’s a miracle I wasn’t diagnosed with ADHD until I was 39 at this rate of consumption.

This statement is way outside of CIA’s lane and erosive of the ethical norm that intelligence should be non-partisan. If that norm vanishes, intelligence loses a very large portion of its value.

I don’t think people outside of healthcare realize how much AAP is standing out as a moral backbone of medicine right now, especially in pediatrics. There is so much fear at institutions. Seeing an org directly and repeatedly targeted refuse to budge an inch is extraordinary.
