In an attempt to grow my editing portfolio I want to add vertical videos to my reel. If anyone is looking for a video editor for short form vertical videos for them reach out.

Networking doesn't mean schmoozing up to famous people, it means making friends with your peers. Then in 10 years, 20, one of you might be famous? And sure you're still helping each other cus well yeah friends.

Talking to one of these types at a con who asked how I 'got in' with so many 'famous writers' who I'd been talking to and I said "we made friends before anyone knew who we were decades ago by striking up interesting conversations and enjoying each other's company" and he kept re-asking the question.

I can not tell you how far I to this review I was before I realized this was not about Cars the movie but cars you know the thing people drive.
the recurrent line that has always stuck out to me, "name any issue and i'll tell you how cars make the problem worse", is extremely true because once you See cars you cannot unsee them.

I have two goals for Margaret Catter Development and TTRPG design stuff for 2026.
1) Finish the Minimum Viable Game for Ascent of Crystal Tower and run a playtest
2) Update and revise Magical Girls and Mecha to give it more structure and form, then run a playtest

I'd believe this anecdote because I've met guys like this at conventions. People do ask (politely) about their work and they can't pitch it because what makes it special is that they are the specialest boy. They go to panels and hear queer and BIPOC writers talk about their work and think "ah ha". +
